Throughout the evening, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in blackouts in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Several individuals were wounded while inhabitants in eastern districts were experienced blackouts and encountered problems to water systems, per reports from city officials.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was killed in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the country's south-east, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has intensified attacks on power infrastructure over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "real steps" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the United States, the EU and the Group of Seven - in supplying air defence systems and enforcing penalties," he wrote in a online statement.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and more than 30 missiles targeted the country's power systems, describing such strikes as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as temperatures become colder.

Energy officials said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were striving to fix the damage.

A wave of strikes damaged power facilities and civilian homes in the capital.

Multiple people hurt in the assaults on the city have been hospitalized, as confirmed by local officials.

Regional authorities said the city came under significant strikes throughout the evening. A young boy died and multiple civilians were hurt.

The strikes follow nights of air raids in the region, sections of which are currently controlled by invading troops.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to identify.

Authorities told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to destroy the country's energy grid, with strikes already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated energy workers and authorities were preparing for further attacks.
